At Hometown Concrete Leveling, we follow a time-tested process that has been refined and perfected over years of dedicated service. Mudjacking safely raises concrete using a high-pressure concrete-like slurry mixture.
Here’s how it works:
- Initial Assessment: Our skilled technicians identify the affected concrete areas and diagnose the issue. This helps us determine the precise amount of material required to level the concrete effectively.
- Drilling Small Access Holes: We carefully drill small holes in the affected concrete, providing access to the soil below.
- Slurry Injection: Using a hydraulic pump, we inject a concrete-like slurry through the holes. As the material expands, it gently raises the concrete. During this process, we may walk or apply pressure to ensure a thorough fill.
- Finishing and Cleanup: After the leveling process is complete, we remove the pump, refill the holes with fresh, matching concrete, and clean up any minimal debris created during the procedure.
